ATHENS — Were the College Football Playoff to have started this week, the Georgia Bulldogs would not have been a part of it. The Bulldogs dropped from No. 3 to No. 12 following a loss to Ole Miss, and thus Georgia would not have qualified for one of the at-large bids.

sad when you kind of miss the old BCS standings. At least the computer took the bias out of it. Before this win, simulations had old BCS formula at #10 and in the playoffs.
