AP report finds that Texas punished 0 fans for trash-throwing incident against Georgia
One of the images of the college football season came when Texas fans began throwing trash onto the field during this year’s Georgia-Texas game.

Austin is the most liberal city in the entire state of Texas. It doesn't surprise me that no one has been identified or punished. They probably got free tickets. Some one tell why Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma are in the SEC since neither are in the Southeast.
Super conferences and NIL will be the end of college football as we know it. True rivalries will become a thing of he past.
Is anyone suprised nothing was done?
Heck, they don't even arrest criminals there, why on earth would we expect them to "fully investigate" this? I just hope the SEC doesn't turn out like the Southwest conference and big 12 and let Texas do as they please. Conference was fine before them and will be fine long after they are gone.
Well they'll surely never do that again!
And we're all saying "WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT????????!!!" because we're all super surprised.
They should be fined again for not identifying anyone, and the fine should be doubled. That’s ridiculous. With the technology they have now, they should be able to identify at least 90% of the people that threw trash on the field. They haven’t identified them because they probably let them purchase tickets to the sec title game so they can throw trash onto that field if they don’t agree with a call.
Didn't the SEC say there would be consequences if Texas didn't identify everyone??
Alcohol and college students—-What could possibly go wrong?
How very sad that someone on a fan forum comments in this way. I don't care about political affiliation, which has no place here, but this comment is possible one of the worst I have seen.
No surprise here.
