So you choose to show every play where UGA players either misfired or for hurt?! Ok, then.

what does everyone think about Beck and Thorson? I mean beck didn’t get undressed or anything and just had ice so I’m thinking maybe not to bad but Thorson might be a little more serious?

I hope the kid from Manchester was at this game.

Beck is having trouble with his grip and couldn’t throw the ball. Headed for an MRI. Thorson landed on his left knee and immediately punched the turf. Might be a meniscus tear. If it is he's done. Will have to wait and see.

I would highly doubt that the committee would penalize us especially since they will have to make their final decision by tomorrow afternoon and Georgia likely won't release any final health information before then. In terms of Beck… well, Stockton DID seem to get the players to actually catch the ball and provided a run element, so while he definitely needs to practice hard with the 1's over the next few weeks, he could actually be our best choice (or at least pretty close).

So, anyone's opinions of Mike Bobo changed yet? Let me remind people.

    1. UGA played one of their toughest schedules ever with 5 games against playoff teams plus a 6th against Ole Miss, with only 1 of those in Athens.
    2. This is UGA's worst OL this decade. For comparison, the 2020 OL started 5 future NFL draft picks - Jamaree Salyer, Justin Shaffer, Trey Hill, Ben Cleveland, Warren McClendon - 4 of whom were upperclassmen. All but Shaffer are still in the NFL.
    3. This is UGA's worst group of WRs in the Smart era. The 8-5 2016 team had 4 WRs and 2 TEs who were drafted in Isaiah McKenzie, Terry Godwin, Riley Ridley, Javon Wims, Isaac Nauta and Charlie Woerner. Even the much-maligned 2019 WRs had 4 guys - Dom Blaylock, Lawrence Cager, Demetrius Robinson and of course George Pickens - who would start for this team.
    4. Tailback? More of the same. The only 100 yard rushing game came against UMass, and there was only a single 90 yard rushing game also. UGA's 4 leading rushers have 635 (Nate Frazier), 570 (Trevor Etienne), 106 (Dillon Bell, a WR) and 86 (Carson Beck, a pro style dropback QB) yards.
    5. Obviously they were carried by the defense. Except … no. UGA's defense is only 25th in scoring defense and 40th in yards per game when they are usually in the top 10 in one or the other and often both. Unthinkable for a Kirby Smart team.

Yet UGA is 11-2, SEC champs with a #2 playoff seed, largely on the strength of Carson Beck's SEC-leading TD passes. And Beck didn't even play the 2nd half or overtime of the SECCG. So, again, who is willing to give Bobo credit?
