Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I'm glad Nitro decided to stay. I want to hear some "Gunner to Nitro" next season.
poop
Lost a big lineman. Sorry to see him think UGA is not good enough for him.
I don’t think he has 3 years of eligibility because he played in 5 games in 2023 and 11 games in 2024. He does have 3 years to use 2, but not 3 years of eligibility. Please let me know if I’m wrong? Go Dawgs!!!
These kids think they are so entitled these days.
How SELFISH can one be to quit on his team as they prepare to play for a championship? Nothing screams "ME" more than this, Jarrett. Just go, go now and take that "there's no team in I" mentality with you. After all, it's not like you have another portal window AFTER the playoffs, oh wait…
Is this guy another Bear Alexander? Played in almost all the games this season and is apparently not happy?
Good riddance…don't let the door hit you on the way out. Ungrateful SOB.
At least they won't waste a spot taking him to the Sugar bowl now. I'm sure theres someone who truly wants to be a DAWG, that will be more than happy to take his place on the travel roster..GoDAWGS!
nobody needs to be attacking these kids going into the portal. None of us know the circumstances. We always assume that it’s a selfish decision by the player, but maybe it’s at the “suggestion” of the coaches. The portal can go two ways.
If there weren't another portal window AFTER the playoffs, I'd agree with you. In this case your team is in the CFPs and you decide to check out better offers now? If it comes out later that Kirby showed him the door, then I'll issue my heartfelt apology to this young man but right now, the optics are really bad. He played 4 games plus a bowl in year one, played in 11 games this year, all these indicators say he was on the rise and wasn't "asked" out. He's from NC, perhaps a better offer from Belichick? Who knows, this one screams of tampering.
His 5th game was a bowl game last year, that does not count towards redshirt eligibility.
Speaking of Bear…guess who is in the portal again.
Arik Gilbert is also. Guess he couldn't make a living as a burglar. Such a shame to see such great talent squandered. I hope if he is given another chance somewhere, he makes the most of it. He's running out of opportunity.
I don't understa.nd this one. With 2 or 3 of our DL seniors, Jamaal would have gotten a lot more playing time next season
Three tackles over Eleven games ?? Will he really be missed that much ?? I bet there’s a youngster on the roster that would dearly love to take his spot. Wish him the best as long as it’s not vs Dawgs or any negative impact on the Dawgs. CFB world is totally different now. Loyalty is a scarce commodity.
Lighten up on these transfers. No one knows their situation except them and the coaches. It's flat out wrong.
