Jalon Walker was a great player and great leader for the Dawgs. He was the best player on the 2024 team and always showed up for the big games. The Dawgs need 22 more like him.
With his accolades I would too. I hate it for Dawgnation - How can he be replaced?
jdatl3, Kirby is known for replacing defensive players, even ones like Jalon Walker, and as a Georgia Bulldawgs fan, Kirby has earnt my trust, he will have the next one in the system, or get one, that is how he will be replaced.
The closest replacement may be Chris Cole. He is similar to Jalon in size and speed. He played alot more snaps this year than I expected. I thought Justin Williams, being the #1 linebacker in last year's class, would play more than Cole, but Cole has obviously impressed the coaches and he saw the field alot as a true freshman.
As far as Jalon is concerned, a DGD that will keep repping the G in the NFL.

Mel Kiper has Walker as the 12th best prospect. Falcons pick 15th. As much as I hope the Falcons pick him, I’m sure they won’t even if he is available. I’m hoping Jalon could avoid Jets, Browns, Saints, but that’s just me being selfish. I hate Brock on the Raiders and Chubb in Cleveland ;) but still have to check in on their games.

JWalker is a guy that did it the right way at UGA. Team player. Built himself into an NFL ready player. He will do well at the next level with the physical and mental foundation he built at UGA.
Current UGA ILB's Chris Cole, JWilliams and ZWalker were all higher rated HS LB's than JWalker.
