Mykel, I'm sorry to see you go….the selfish Dawg inside me wishes you'd stay, but like every mother bird feels when the brood leaves the nest, I know you're ready to sore and one more year really wouldn't add to your resume….can't wait til Draft night…..SICEM DAWG!
I appreciate all Mykel did for UGA and I wish him well in the NFL. I must say, however, that I was extremely disappointed in his poor sportsmanship after the Sugar Bowl when he angrily snatched off his helmet and abruptly ran past several Notre Dame players who were trying to shake his hand and into the locker room. I get that he was upset with the loss (as he should have been), but once it's over, it's time to swallow your pride and hurt and congratulate the other team on a job well done. It doesn't take anything away from Williams as a player or his play during that game. It just wasn't a good look to end it all, and a couple of us who saw it in person as it happened commented about it.
