You are right: it’s way too early. But, to predict Bama over Georgia, that’s just cruel.

why is their no coverage of UGA women’s basketball on this site?

I would say an enormously optimistic forecast.

We outperformed our abilities in 2024. 6th in our conference in scoring per game and 7th in points allowed per game. Not up UGA standards. And yet, eveyone will probably receive raises. Go figure.

I'm not sure where the offensive points are coming from in these predictions.

This article is very premature and optimistic. 9 opponents (6 SEC) will be held to 20 pts of less? TN 13. TX 17. MS 20. Yet GA Tech will score 27?

CR desperate for content in the off season. IMO UGA has a better chance to beat AL than TN or TX.

Nah. The Bummers at home with a new QB themselves, after the fallout they had in '24 (come on: every game after the one against us was a toss-up). Our most-likely-at-the-moment QB will do just fine against their D as long as a) the return players from our OL continue to grow, b) the replacement OL do their dang jobs and c) Bobo gets Stockton (who's a few years in, so it's not a huge ask) prepped to run this O.

Because of a rounded-down version of why horse sports aren't covered here.

We actually do well with horses, but there are very few people who care.

Our women's basketball doesn't gather the interest that men's BB does, and they're all but giving away tix for the guys. Maybe being ranked for the first time in over a decade will start to make a dent there…

It's not done anything for horse sports, though…

In the end, this wasn't the place for your question.

I would rather lose the rest of them & beat the Bammers. At this point they think they own us & they are mostly right.,

Eh, I'm not a big fan of predicting scores. I think a better approach would've been to rank the difficulty of each opponent (including home vs away) on a scale from 1-10

There is some reason to believe that the WR, TE and RB play will be better next season. Getting absolutely no impact players at 3 positions in 4 straight recruiting classes is unfathomable.
