I think a new governing org needs to be founded so that schools can tell the NCAA goodbye
But Diego Pavia was granted an extra year of eligibility under the same circumstances? So its based on 1 person to the next? And the rule only applies to Football? I thought the new rule was a GENERAL rule covering all college athletes (regardless of sport), not just for certain individuals. What a clown show, the ncaa is a dying entity..👋
But it says Pavia was granted an extra year for next season. Goldstein wants the extra year to be this current season. Don't know why that would make a difference, but sounds like it is too late in this case.
The ncaa still punishing UGA for suing them for tv rights in the 80s, along with Oklahoma.
IMHO….the dinosaur called NCAA need to be put to rest….the conferences need to come together and establish guidelines and rules that are up to date and put a commissioner in place to enforce them….we are well past the point of no return when it comes to the extinct NCAA making decisions that creates court cases and long delays, just to "be in control"…time to "cut the ties that bind" and move on…and don't look back….
But if he wanted to play women’s sports, the NCAA would fall all over themselves making it happen…
