Georgiaâs Arian Smith racing to make history at 2025 NFL combine in 40-yard dash

INDIANAPOLIS â Arian Smith has battled four years at Georgia to prove heâs tougher and more physical than football players who get labeled as âtrack guys.â
Comments
It doesn't matter how fast Arian Smith can run a 40-yard dash if he cannot be relied upon to catch the gall…
Seeing some of the LB's and DB's run confirms that the "track" at Indy is a pretty fast track. W/ASmith's track experience you would expect his start to be quick and efficient. That makes him running in the 4.2's possible. 4.20? Probably not likely but should be fun to see just how fast ASmith is.
Smith is pretty tall and lanky. Long striders do well in longer sprints. Short sprints, like the 40, are more suited for quick and maybe shorter guys who can get to full speed quickly.
It will be interesting to see how ASmith performs in the gauntlet drill and whether he runs full speed there.
Exactly. It was at times last year he was wearing snow gloves on his hands.
Why the down votes for 2 posts that are being honest. As much as I love Arian Smith, he did have some unfortunate drops. With his speed, some team will draft him and maybe he can improve his drop issue. Possibly with another receiver coach at the next level, he can improve and make Dawg fans proud. I am pulling for him. He seems like a good kid and deserves the chance.
He’s difficult to catch and catching is difficult for him. 😏
Don't quit your day job because even a one night stand as a comedian wouldn't last.
You're not funny
Beachwagon tries to be funny….fails especially when he fails at spelling/editing.
He could work for DN though…
Arian has trouble catching the "gall"….
But Bwagon sure has a lot of gall…
glass houses BW…now shut it
I don't see ASmith as higher than a 4th rd pick. That's if he runs a 4.2x. If he runs a 4.2x AND catches every pass at the combine MAYBE somebody takes a chance on him in the 3rd.
