Great information. Sounds like the SEC now needs (5) automatic bids starting in 2026 and beyond if we go to a 9-game regular season SEC slate…we're due. Time and again, SOS has NOT been taken into account enough when deciding which teams get in the playoffs.

Wow, not having the clem(p)son game really dropped us. We flipped home games and the teams are the same but we went from the toughest to the 13th toughest while playing the same basic schedule.

That one game must have been the most important game in history.

SP+, just another "moojee boojee" metric no better than a Vegas bookie…..and for that matter not nearly as accurate as The Greeks Golden Guide…..I took the recruit ranking for #1TOS, #2 Bama, #3 Penn St, and #4 UGA for the last four years……I'm thinking that indicates potential….ie: The Dawgs were 3/22, 2/23, 1/24, and 2/25 which adds to 8. I then take the On 3 coaching rank for 2025 where Kirby was #1 and that indicates development of potential….. add that to the 8 which equals a score of 9. By my G3 metric, The Dawgs are the #1 team at the start of the 25 season!!!! By comparison the SP+ #1 team, TOS has a score of 19, SP+ #2 Bama has a score of 17…..DeBoer came in at #9 and the SP+ #3 Penn St had a score of 57…piss poor recruiting and a "wanna-be" coach…..so despite being the #1 Dawg Fan Man in Portage MI…soon to be back home in Texas, I'm all smiles with anticipation for the 2025 Dawg season cause I'm using the G3 metric! GOOOOO DAWGS, SICEM!

OK Spring training starts next week GET THOSE ANKLES TAPED, get proper shoes we don't need any toe or ankle injuries this year NONE ! The conditioning staff better have read up on both those injuries and how to prevent them. We have got to stay injury free for the most part. It is going to be a GREAT SEASON. GO DAWGS

"GtheGreek"—What did you say? I'm looking at an 11-1 or 10-2 season, but hoping for a 12-0. I think the season will be predicated, to a great extent, on the development of our Offensive line. Let's hope this coaching staff can teach them how to run block and how to pass block—I think our destiny will be shaped by this.

It's wild to me that TX is listed one above us on this SOS list. Like, except that they play us again and start out with OSU, in what world?!

Having many of the same games at home—particularly the heavier hitters (Bama, TX)—is a pretty significant element, is my guess.

Our schedule became more difficult when we gave Coach Bobo a raise and an extension. Words are inadequate to express how badly I hope I’m wrong about our need for a new OC and o-line coach.

I'll break it down for you lucydog…..according to my analysis the Dawgs are the most talented team in D-1 and combined with what I believe is the best coaching staff will result in the most highly developed team in college football….there is one unknown which is essential to success…ie: wins and that is player leadership….I see about 6-7 soon to be DGD's that potentially prove to be the inspirational leaders we need so I optimistically expect a 12/0 regular season and a run for another natty.
