Way to hold your own, Mike. What a ridiculous question, to ask you how Georgia staff compares to all others across the country, as though you have intimate knowledge of every program on the planet. You aren't what gives journalism a bad name (as he so arrogantly implied), HE is!

As for Kirby's remarks, good for him for making the important distinction and emphasizing passion for game over passion for $$. The Georgia culture seems to be hanging on, in spite of the insanity the "business side" of college sports has become. Go Dawgs!

Only day one of spring practice and Mike Griffith is already getting bashed by Finebaum.

I have more confidence in Stockton than I ever did in Beck. Especially once he starts getting first team reps. Beck just never looked like he liked being at Georgia. Watch the last play of the SEC Championship when Beck came in to hand the ball off. Georgia wins and Beck looked like he couldn't have cared less. If Beck doesn't get hurt, I'm not sure UGA wins that game. I wouldn't wish injury on anyone, but Stockton lifted the team and they rallyed. Stockton will improve drastically with more reps. Beck will be the same Beck at Miami. Maybe regular visits with his girl will improve his psyche, but he's one dimensional.

Wait….so Finebaum considers himself a seasoned journalist but on radio he made the dumbest of the dumb comments about being able to find a better OC walking down Peachtree Street? Other than head coaches, can Finebaum name more than a handful of OC's and DC's and position coaches around the country, much less the SEC?

I Believe that Gunner has much more passion for the game than NIL so he meets Kirby’s desire of passion for the game. If the O Line is much improved and receivers catch the ball when it’s a good throw then Gunner will excel.

Gunner Will do his job and he will do it well. But the O Line must do their job and give him adequate pass protection. And receivers must get open quickly and Catch the ball. If everyone executes and does their jobs I believe Dawgs fans will end up being very pleased with Gunner..

@Mike Griffith. All Paul Finebaum is is a novelty and a devout Bama lover. He’s not to be taken seriously as he’s wrong more times than right. He’s just a 🤡

Well, one thing is clear, at least to this writer. We lose the SEC Championship game if Beck doesn’t get hurt. With Gunner at QB, it was a totally different team. As Kirby says, “He’s a leader….” That was lacking last year. A leader at QB is vital. Plus, Gunner has grit. A leader with grit who was rated in the top 10 QBs in his class is more important than elite talent without leadership and grit. Gunner is the kind of player you want to fight with and for.

One more thing: Who cares what Paaauuul thinks? He’s an arrogant man who basically knows little about football. Pretty sure he’s never been through a bull-in-the-ring drill.
