- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Oscar Delp attacking 2025 with refocused priorities: âI felt like I had one foot out the doorâ

Georgiaâs top tight end said there were times during the 2024 season that he let this focus drift from football to outside noise, contributing to a drop in expected production.

I actually see this as concerning of the culture last year. NIL, which has been mentioned may have become a greater focus than team. I hope the words are true and that focus permeates this team. Maybe some the lack of leadership was filled in other ways that are now being corrected.
“I kind of struggled with looking at my phone too much when I shouldn’t have been looking at it, and looking at things that people were saying about me and about potential things.”
I think this should be highlighted. We need to remember that most of these players are still kids. Their cognitive functions haven't fully developed and even grown ass adults have trouble ignoring constant criticism or grass is greener talk.
Criticize the everliving sh17 out of Bobo and Searels but maybe tone it down when talking about players. (I include myself in this as well)
I really think that Delp is going to have a breakout year. Really like his willingness to address his shortcomings and he seems motivated to be a much better player. At 6-5, 245 he certainly has the size to make it work.
Not sure this is a cultural issue as much as an individual issue. Clearly Delp does not get it. You would think learning from watching how Bowers did it would show him exactly what he needed to do. His immaturity and lack of commitment now explains why he has been overrated and under performed so far at UGA.
There are 4 guys just waiting to take his job this year if he doesn't pick it up. He will get a short leash from CKS this year to perform. NFL? Based on his play last year he would be a 3rd day pick at best.
