- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

As House Settlement threatens future of walk-ons, linebacker Terrell Foster wants to stay at Georgia

On Monday, objections will be heard regarding the House v. NCAA lawsuit. Should Judge Claudia Wilkins approve the settlement, the world of college sports will be turned upside down.
Comments
If the SEC holds to the 85 scholarship limit, then that leaves 20 walk ons within the 105 limit. Of course that goes quickly away when other conferences allow 105 scholarships. One more element of the things that made college football what it was will soon be gone. How will this impact practice? Maybe college football needs a "practice squad" beyond the 105 limit.
They have screwed college football up beyond repair.
Congress and the legal system have screwed up college sports beyond anything the NCAA ever did. Whenever you get lawyers and politicians involved in anything it gets worse with each passing day.
Terrell Foster will spend 4 years at UGA getting a degree and being immersed in one of the top CFB programs. He will be set, in his home state, in football coaching the rest of his life. Whether it be in HS football or working his way up the CFB coaching ranks.
As for players like Foster and Cash Jones, I would expect them to be part of the 105. The danger will be for all the "Rudy's" that are used as live tackling dummies at practice. There is no longer room for about 20-30 of those guys. That may include Delp's and Hall's brothers. The good news is those guys can stay in school with help from HOPE and their brother's NIL. They just won't be on the team.
CKS will be forced to change how the team practices and how much live hitting is done in practice.
