No offense to Georgia State but that’s quite a drop down in competition. He’ll probably receive a lot of “tough love” though and hopefully flourish as a running back and reach his true potential. I wish him good luck! Go Dawgs!

I wish Branson the best for continued healing and success. I heard during spring practice that one of the running backs would probably transfer and was hoping it wouldn't be him.

Hope he does well under Coach McGee. I always liked Branson. He’s a very good back plagued by injuries. When healthy he’s a stud imo. Wish he had stayed at UGA, but wish him well at Georgia State.

I think this is a good outcome for a guy who seemed to be Dawg-loyal, but got dealt some tough breaks. My son went to UGA and my daughter to GSU, so I'll get to have seen Branson at two well-led Georgia programs 😁👍
