Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Josh Brooks: Georgia open to playing Big Ten team in regular season âin the right scenarioâ

Welcome to "Around the SEC" where we give you the latest from around the conference and how it impacts the Georgia program.

So, open question here: If UGA were to play a 9 game SEC season (as has been proposed) and then a Big 10 team (say Michigan, Oregon, or OSU), how beat-up do you think the Dawgs would be by the end of the regular season?
It's already tough as it is. I get that it's all about the Benjamin's, as Kirby said recently, but this ends up with some non-Big10/SEC teams (e.g., Clemson, Miami, etc.) having a much bigger shot at the CFP National Championship than they "should."
Literally putting this out there for all the great DN posters, as I must be missing something here. Maybe this just eventually means BIg10/SEC break away sooner rather than later...?
Regardless, I worry about what this means for SEC (and esp. UGA) player health, even before they have a shot at the NFL 🤔😯🤯
@Kudzu You passed!
How about rotating Clemson and Georgia Tech. Home/Away with Tech, and then Home/Away with Clemson. That way you mix things up a little and get an ACC game. Big 10 is good, but UGA should also be open to other conferences too. Arizona, Boise State, Miami, Arizona State, and Iowa State are quality teams too.
@SufferinginAtlanta i like your idea but the ACC is irrelevant as far as CFB is concerned. Sec & big ten rule CFB now. That’s only going to get more pronounced
