"I discuss why Kirby Smart didn’t want to compare Gunner Stockton to Carson Beck"……Brandon….give it a rest, we all know why we were happy for Beck to move on…..and why Gunner will be a better QB….its FOCUS & LEADERSHIP….Gunner has both, Beck had focus the first year but no leadership and in year two he was off & on with the focus but still no leadership.
I'll agree with McShay….Arch was a better HS QB than Gunner….that's all you can honestly compare. What McShay failed to weigh in is that Arch is consumed with injury fear…ie: both games against The Dawgs….a fear that will delete the enormous expectations placed on his shoulders by fans and family……against DAWG level defences that pressure Arch, he'll be average at best. Gunner is fearless and that trait inspires every player on offense as well as the D-Dawgs that take the field with one objective….get the ball back to the Offense as soon as possible……FOCUS & LEADERSHIP, Gunner is #1 in both.
