So I guess Lonan Jr needs to decided if he wants to play the best teams in college football for national championships every year or muddle around in the haples ACC vying for some sort of second rate bowl every December…. Tough decision…. NOT.

His parents are correct, he is their son, and they have to support, and love him unconditionally. They have to stand beside him through thick, and thin, even if he choose the north avenue trade school in atlanta..GoDAWGS!

For a young man who characterizes himself as a "twitchy 3 Tech" I hope that means he's QUICK as pain from a pulled hangnail, AGILE as a mongoose avoiding a cobra strike and as STRONG as the stink from a garlic eating roadkill skunk…it's abundantly obvious that a career in football at the next level is a clear focus……so given the choice between being a Dawg and a North Avenue Trade School Gnat……ie: development, national exposure, and championships as opposed to ACC mediocracy……Anthony…..3—4 years at UGA will place you in the first round of the NFL draft…..3-4 years in Hotlanta will get you into Grad School…..it just boils down to what you want for yourself and your family.

Big fish in a small pond, or small fish in a big pond? It’s an age-old question, Anthony.
The real question is, “Do you want to play on Sundays? Then come be a Dawg, and that will be a natural progression.

With all his history regarding UGA and Athens he would seem to be a lock to commit to UGA. Hopefully he is a legit 6'2" 265 now, as reported, and not one of those HS players whose hght/wght are exaggerated.

Something tells me an undersized and hungry young player, working his butt off pushing higher rated players, will benefit the entire DL room.

He also had a heckuva HS coach in David Perno to guide him (even though his W/L record doesnt show him being an elite HC) he's still a great asset in a lot of these young men's lives. Perno is also a Clarke Central alum himself. He was afforded the opportunity to coach at his old high school and chose that path. As many already now, Perno was a pretty darn good baseball coach/leader while he was at UGA. He kept those great traits, and qualities he had at UGA as a HC, and now uses them at the HS level at CCHS..GoDAWGS!
