I will believe it when I see it. Transfers just seem to disappear when moving up to SEC/UGA talent levels.

Majority of Bell's drops were at the position he's least effective - x. After the Young suspension, he had to rep that position predominantly the rest of the way.

Hats off to MG for doing some research. However he provided little reference to measure the UGA receivers against. Assuming 1.00 (100%) is a perfect score it would have been nice to see the scores of Ryan Williams or Jeremiah Smith or some other elite receiver scores.

Initially I was optimistic about the '25 receivers vs the '24 receivers. They couldn't be worse for dropped passes, right? But after seeing the returning receiver numbers in black and white it seems this group has a lot to prove.

Clearly Luckie is underutilized. UGA needs to find a way to get McCray the ball out of the backfield. UGA's OL is too big to be pulled for the screen game. But 235 lb McCray running down hill on a screen would make some.DB's think twice about tackling.

    "Practicing contested catches."!!??____KS

Lol...heck, they were dropping wide open lobs across the middle and on the edge. Forget the "contest"...just catch the dang ball, if it's anywhere around you. Practice THAT, for cryin out loud. It's not a fancy, new wave concept, Lol. That's kind of a requirement for a "RECEIVER".

Stop making excuses. About...why they DO have blistering speed...and, they DO get open…..and, they CAN block....But, they CAN'T catch the football.

Would you say the same thing about a running back that fumbled the football once or twice every couple of games? Nope...cause that's a mental error. You can forgive the occasional drop or fumble. But, last year was like an epidemic that effected more than just one "receiver".

IMO...That lack of focus effected "the team".…which had a negative impact on the "non-receivers". It had a circular snowball effect, throughout the year.

A'ight...rant over. Lol. I'm sure they'll have a handle on it this year. But, last year?.…was inexplicable, to me, anyway. Nice try, though, Kirby. Lol. Never saw it effect more than one player, like that...over the course of a whole season.

Any receiver with drop rate less than 75% is concerning. Our drops killed drives and momentum last year, and when you couple that with the INT's we had a miserable offense last year.

Given the depth of our WR room, there should be great competition to get on the field. If a WR has the dropsies, he should be benched and let the next man up play.

Trying to find the logic of this article. Of course dropped passes are either mental or technical. Either that or the pass fairy came up and swatted them away. Dropped passes and more dropped passes—let's go on to something new.

Never understood why Luckie wasn’t more involved in the passing game last year. He has good hands and is fast for a TE. While he’s not Brock Bowers (who is?), imo he’s the best receiving TE on this team.

Does anyone know if McCray is practicing with the team?

HOPING the drops are a thing of the past.

I wondered last year, if maybe the "injury situation", wasn't a little worse than being reported by the coaching staff.

I think a couple of those guys were having to play at 75-85% due to injury. In other words....the walking wounded never had a chance to heal properly, due to the "depth situation".

Imo...Lucky may have been hurt [or injured]...and, was limited in what he could do on the field....similar to the '23 Bowers situation. Along with a couple of others.
