Anytime I hear the statement that a team is missing some mysterious thing, I think of Gene Hackman in the Replacements - "Heart, miles and miles of Heart". Fun movie.
"Fire, Passion, Energy"……so you've got the t-shirt & hat but if you don't OWN the "DNA" by consistently working to get better and weekly maintain your focus…..it's like having 1000 HP under the hood but still working on that learners licence…you ain't winning any races…..last years team had the hat & shirt but not the DNA.

The thing that was "missing" in UGA's 2024 team was the quarterback. Carson Beck may have been there physically, but mentally he was consumed by NIL/money, publicity agents, Lamborghinis, tattoos and nurturing the NFL pimp look, and his Miami social media squeeze who promptly dumped him when he left UGA. This caused serious problems in the locker room which have not recieived much print…
I am exremely excited that Stockton is a natural leader, a true Dawg, and is highly respected by all his teammates as a selfless leader.
Beck's big NIL deal prior to the 2024 season was a huge mistake.
Beck didn't show-up as a leader of men. Too self-consumed. Too diva.
A lot of people pointing the finger at Beck. Was Beck responsible for UGA's 36th rated defense? Or UGA's 24th rated scoring defense?
If the '24 UGA team was that reliant on Carson Beck to lead it then CKS should fire every coach on the team.
