I love it. Having that talent gives an offense some many more options.
There's a lot of talk, not just here, about the 13 personnel grouping. My wife asked me a couple of days ago what the term meant as she'd read something which assumed knowledge she doesn't didn't have. Like her, I greatly value when writers explain what they're talking about, as did Connor Riley in this article, instead of assuming everyone knows more than many of us do.
She assumes I know more about football than I sometimes do. It was fun to explain a bit about personnel groupings to her, and more fun to realize she seems to have learned the difference between tight ends and wide receivers. Admittedly, some of our larger wide receivers sometimes blur the lines a bit.
Keep it up, Connor.
Go, Dawgs!
Really excited at the possibility this TE room has of opening up the offense, especially in regards to the running game!
Using the TEs more should help the O this season. Of course, that assumes Bobo improves his play calling. Gotta stop be so predictable. Time will tell.
Well here’s my thoughts on the subject- !!!!!!!! Go Dawgs !!!!!!!!!
You and I and many others are blessed to have wives, gf’s, significant others, that Love Dawgs football !! Looking forward to enjoying the season with my better half God Bless her !! Go Dawgs !!
The 13personnel grouping even LOOKS hard to stop. Here's hoping these guys take pride in their blocking skills—it sure does wonders for the ground game. If y'all are like me, you're counting down the days to college football!!
I totally agree, I somehow knew what the 13 personnel meant, dont ask me how, i couldnt tell ya lol. But, as you stated, there's more than a few fans that dont know all the terminology, schemes, and play calls associated with football. It really helps you be more of a fan when you know these things about the game.
14personnel, anyone?? 🤭🤭
