I am already a fan of Mr Fitzpatrick because as a young man he has his head correctly screwed on. Rare for 17-18 year olds. He will be an All-American Bulldog Hall of Fame NFL All-Pro just like his dad one day! The money will roll in when he performs on the field.

Can't understand why anyone would choose to play their college football at Miami. The team is always undisciplined and perennial losers. This year will be no different. Tempting elite recruits with money will work for some but not for those who have better judgement or parents that they respect to help guide them.

You'll see those 2 school names (Miami, texas) listed everytime there's an article about doling out the $$ to buy, or flip recruits..

Every time they call, they offer more money. Oh excuse me, they tout their culture.

It is logical to advance the point that Georgia can’t afford to lose elite CB commitment…

    What a

article hook line…give me a break. If any team's hopes are wrapped around the win or loss of a single recruit, that program is in serious trouble. Georgia will be fine with or without Mr. Fitzpatrick, in Kirby I trust.

He looks solid. Of course, one never can tell what big bucks will do to an 18 year old. However, he appears to have his priorities right. If we lose any recruit because another program buys his commitment, I prefer him to move on.

Like it or hate it, if this kid gets a better offer from Texas or Miami, he’s gone, just like the 6 or 8 (?) guys they snatched away from us this summer. Kirby is gambling, but if he gets two 5-Stars regularly, we will fall behind in the arms race.

"The lack of players entering the portal is a testament to the culture coach______ has created, where the _____ emphasize the recruitment and development of high school players rather than using the portal to add a transfer and informing a current player to leave."

"It just shows that our process works regardless whether we're recruiting a high school kid or recruiting a portal kid," ____said after _______ spring game on April 6. "We're trying to get the right guys that really align with who we are, how we go about our business here, what the expectations are, what our core values are and also fit the role that we need them to."

Sound familiar? Guess who said it? THis coach added 5 decent looking players to his roster this year.

Every coaches dream is to get a blue chipper who will buy into the culture and turn down more money elsewhere. IF Texas wins it all after buying some of the best, after Ohio St did it last season, it's not looking good for the "buy into the culture coaches." Time will tell.

If either Kirby or Dabo can win it all this year or next they make the case for culture buy-in.

Even if you buy all the 5 stars you want ,of course you still have to have develop the right culture. Duh! Obviously Ohio st. did that last year.

"They took some serious time to really make this decision and they’re a family of integrity. As long as things are on the up and up on both sides and I’m sure they will be, it will go as planned.”……Integrity based on GOD'S will…..you can't ask for more than that…..I trust Justice Fitzpatrick and his Family…..Justice knows better than anyone that he can not and will never be the singular savior of any program but an integral component forming a championship TEAM….If your "culture" is based on buying players with the primary focus of "what's in it for ME" or "where's MY money"….that culture will always be a one trick pony, never a consistently elite program.

He'd look a lot better with a decent haircut instead of trying to impersonate Medusa.
