Newbies seeing the field…Kirby always does this. Negates shut out every time. Puglisi is running now.
I’m still a bit disappointed that the backups on the O line can’t handle the Marshall players even if they are the starters. Not getting any push and the RBs are having to create their own space. Should be better than this.
I am not a betting man but dang it, I really, just once, would like to beat the spread.

I will never get it. Regardless who the qb is, why is it so hard to throw a 5 yard pass on 3rd and 4. Especially when the rb is completely covered. I know it didn't matter, but throwing the ball downfield is how to get better, not throwing something that even a rb can throw. CKS and bobo blew the last 2 possessions for Pugs. Way too much running with 7-8 people in the box, and not enough throws.
We were predicted by 39.5. We did by 38. So close.
On to Austin Peay! Another learner game. At least at home again.
90% of the passes were less than 10 yard throws. Does CKS not have any faith in Stockton's ability to throw downfield or is it just a conservative game plan? You need to throw deep occasionally to keep the defense honest.
I honestly think KS had two main priorities 1) Run the ball 2) Stop the opposition from running. They didn’t let Pugs throw it down field either. Still Gunner had 190 yds. 2 TDs passing No INTs . He did far better than Arch Manning though I realize OSU is a far more formidable opponent than Marshall. But conversely Arch wasn’t as limited in play calls as Gunner either. Finally KS was happy with Gunner so I’m happy. Also proud of Pugs he did a fine job. Go Dawgs !!
@DawgTattoo Gunner also had more rushing yds than Arch. But again and I stress, I realize OSU is a much more formidable opponent than Marshall. But with all the “experts” hyping Arch for the Heisman you’d think he could have performed better. I think Arch is over rated. We’ve got at least Two good to great QBs in Gunner & Pugs, and who knows Montgomery might be right there to !! Go Dawgs !!
