A solid "warm up" or "practice" game for the Dawgs with some solid play. It was amazing to see the receivers catching the ball and obviously Branch is definitely meeting his high expectations. Play calling was bland but that's exactly what you want in a game like this - smashmouth football with lots of RBs getting the chance to just pound the ball.

Both QBs did a solid job although some of Stockton's passes were strange. Some were overthrown to where I wasn't sure whether he was throwing it away or not. Even some of his shorter pass were a bit off. Either way, between him and Puglisi I think we are in excellent shape there.

I imagine our practice squad will match up better against our 1s and 2s than our first two opponents. Vanilla offense but that being said, why show any more than we have to until we play the prison road crew in hillbillyville week 3. Nice efficient home opener, go dawgs.

The Vols looked pretty decent. More worried about Knoxville now than Bama.

Barbour starting at TE over Luckie. Interesting. Wonder if there's anything to that. Like both of them but I thought this might be Luckie's breakout year.

I agree with kirkhilles, Gunner looked a bit tight/rushed with his throws…Pugs had the "touch"…..no worries, with a QBR of 99 and the smoothest fake-pull-and run that I've ever seen a Dawg execute, Gunner's our Dawg…..SHOUTOUT'S to Peanut, runnin with his pants on fire, Nate for Dependability, and Chauncey for the longest run of the day…..Elyiss….I'm glad they saved Darnell's uniforms elsewise he'd be scorin in the buff, to Zachariah & London for the TD snags and glad Colby is back, To Zion, Raylen, Chris, CJ, Terrell, Gabe and KJ…our tackling tornados….a special to KJ for the BP, for Mr Reliable…Peyton, and how bout Drew workin hard to live up to The Aussie Standard….with 48 ypk!

Georgia offense will get better when they put #11 Taylor in the slot, and #9 the tight end plays a lot in the passing game. They are more explosive players with #1 Branch and #8 Young. On the defensive side. The inside linebackers are awesome. You need 1 more dog pass rusher. The defensive backs #24 Kelly, #1 Robinson, #6 Everett are 3 great cornerbacks. The bulldogs need 1 slot corners that can cover, No#8 is slow and can't cover. The safety position are great too
