Why LSU rising, Alabama fading: How to watch SEC football, times, TV channels, picks

Brian Kelly was blunt when asked the difference between previous high-profile season-opening losses and the 17-10 win his Bayou Bengals scored at Clemson last Saturday.

Thinks the NIL IZ gonna put some teams out of bizzness the next 5 years or so if some things don’t change - they just won’t be able to compete.
Hate it for the game I love .
Mike I enjoy your articles but disagree with the premise of this one. If you look at the 24/7 talent composite Alabama is 2nd to only UGA in total talent on roster. And they are first in avg. So they still field more talent than anyone they play with the possible exception of us where it’s a toss up. That’s not the problem in Tuscaloosa. A coaching staff that has no idea how to win in the South or sec is. Just hope we can humble them come the 27th
lots of talk floating around on bama and how “soft” certain players are but the one they are talking about single handedly almost beat us
Why aren't you on Finebaum show this season?
I would add that Sayin and Downs didn't do all that much against Texas.
Disagree with this. It’s only the first game of the season. As for LSU, over the past few years, the only SEC team Clemson has beat on opening season was Auburn. So LSU really didn’t accomplish anything great since it was Clemson. As much as I dislike bama they can bounce back.
Hate to sound ignorant on this subject, but I am—a few questions (1) Is there no maximum a school can spend on a recruiting class or just does the richest school win—(2)Is NIL money doled out per season or is a player promised a certain amount and is paid that up front—(3) If number 2 is true, what happens to the money when a player hits the portal after a year or two? Thanks—any enlightenment will be greatly appreciated. GO DAWGS
Golllleeee I can’t stand cut-and-run Kelly. Every word he’s quoted as saying here is just another way of saying “it wasn’t my fault.”
