I think the stocks are still “down” on our OL…….especially on Coach Searels. I keep praying each week they will start impressing us and play as a cohesive unit. Go Dawgs!!!

Stock down. O Line. They aren't ready. Two deeps aren't ready. After next weekend, I bet people will understand that the offensive coordinator is responsible for his O line coaches and their performance. Issues that everyone identified before last season, so it's been a know issue. It was a hot issue all offseason. 5 tries at the one and you can't score on austin pea. Imagine what UT's defense is thinking. It's become such a glaring issue, even Kirby got his back up about scoring between the tackles, which wasn't smart. They should have used some trickery to avoid exposing their tremendous weakness to UT.

While I'm piling on a bunch of 20 year olds, Gunner had an extremely bad game. Several times Wide receivers were running free down the field with him looking at them. I hear the old Mark Richt cliche of taking what the defense gives you, and it makes me wince. I remember Aarron Murry putting up fantastic numbers and losing the game. Gunner is starting to do that.

We have a bunch of Offensive coordinator issues.

This stuff is about to get real. This time next week most fans will be either breathing a sigh of relief and climbing down off the ledge or our worst fear will be confirmed. Cab't sack the Qb and the O-line can't block for squat.

Still can't believe were the favorite. Have they not watched us?

Gunner's pocket passing reminds me of Justin Fields. He checks his first target and if covered, he tucks and runs, or in much of the case Saturday dumps to safety valve. I don't ever recall thinking to myself, during the game, that he seemed to be getting pressured so much as to not progress to second or third targets. And, maybe he was told to make early releases. Yes, the goal line fail was pretty bad, but if Gunner makes a sharp pass to Cash, we're not sitting here talking about it. He was open and the ball was behind him. Should have caught it, but just a little more of a lead and he certainly would have.

That's a cheap shot at Fields and unwarranted. Are you talking about his freshman year at UGA when he was brought in to mostly hand off? You are certainly not talking about his CFP game in '21 vs Clemson when he was 22/28 for 385 yds and 6 TD's.

If you are talking about his time in the NFL who could blame him? He took a tremendous beating in Chicago due to his horrendous OL, WR's and OC. Can't blame him for being a little shell shocked after the beating he took in Chicago. The same thing might already be happening to GS at UGA. He can't focus on the offense because he is focused on the pass rush.

Look, at this point everything is inconclusive. I'm not going to say that I'm feeling super great about everything, but we're also a long way from having an awful season. Sometimes Georgia does not play it's best against easy opponents. It's just something I've seen for a long, long time.

The good news is that we don't have long to wait. If we get beat down by UT then we will have 2 weeks to think about that. If we win (really by any means) then that will be a good indicator against a solid UT team.

UGA moved down three spots in the AP poll and remained static with the Coaches…while the Vols are looking impressive..yet the odds favor UGA? Well, I guess we will know Saturday eve who is right. Kirby tends to get up for these games, so there is hope…always hope. I'll be in my prayer closet….lolol. Dawgs could pull it off…yes.

How is Stockton at stock even? I would sell everything associated with him. And how do you knock the tightends when Stockton refuses to throw them the ball? Good grief, we are doomed by CKS' stubbornness and refusal to see the truth before him.

"Smart has said he’s disappointed in the lack of explosive plays, but he continues to express confidence in Stockton."______ @MikeGriffith

Excellent assessment, Mike. Leave's room for a whole lot of "STOCK UP" next week. And, you're gonna have to nitpick a little bit, to find a "STOCK DOWN". But...good luck with that. Lol

Btw....I hope you're still doing the "UGA Schedule breakdown, team by team...like the one you did in the first week.

    Dawgs....45

    Vols........10

    Go Dawgs!

Looks like Kirby dusted off some old Dooley possum tricks. Lol.…he knows darn well they could've gotten an explosive play on every drive if he had turn't em loose.

Imo....Kirby takes the chains off, against Tennessee...for 2 reasons. Recruiting...and, recruiting. They will win, either way.

Probably through the air, since the Vols will be missing 2 starting DB's. But, I'd love to see the do it on the ground. UGA always has their most physical games against Tennessee & Kentucky. And, they always come home licking wounds. I pray that doesn't happen this time.

    Go Dawgs...stay healthy!

Yeah, the vols put a team record on a team that Austin Peay beat 63-3 last year.
