There's a great article (chop chat) discussing the turnaround at FSU. Norvell hired Gus as OC, and they beat bama. It also mentions that Ryan Day hired Chip Kelly to be OC, and that brought a national championship. Think back to Saban, and he always found the best OC - all are head coaches now. Find the best like Monken - they may not last long, but you get the best. Food for thought

"With how No. 6 Georgia played last week against Austin Peay, there are plenty of members of the national media who are skeptical of Georgia’s chances of picking up a road win.

Brad Crawford of CBS Sports predicted that Tennessee would beat Georgia for the first time since 2016."_____DN

Lol....When are they gonna learn? The really telling thing about the "fake media", is that if OSU, Bama or Notre Dame had "LOST" a game like THAT, early in the season.......They'd already be making excuses and push em UP the rankings.

Eff em!!! We don't need the "fake media"....or their Polls anymore, to WIN a Natty. All we need is "Kirby's Hero's stackin' up "W's""!!!

Go Dawgs....make Fake News eat their paragraphs whole. Run the Gunner, baby!!!

Give Bobo's Offense time. It always took a few games to get everybody on time and proficient...going back to Richt.

But, once everybody "gets it"....look back to the 2012 Season for the gold standard "Bobo Offense. That team, was no where near as deep in talent as the 2025 Dawgs....imo.

IMO.....A lot of the running plays we've been seeing are similar to plays He and Richt used to run....with a couple of tweaks. The blocking schemes...both, run & pass...are unusual, but effective when executed. Just wait till they get hold of somebody they get to beat up on...like Tennessee. Lol

Bobo has a lot more shiny toys to play with....than he did in his 1st UGA go-round. BUT....THIS TIME....HE HAS A DEFENSE TO GO WITH IT. That's a very dangerous combination.

There's a method to the Smart-Bobo madness. By the end of the year...that Offense will be like a runaway locomotive. The Defense and Special will provide the cover, Richt and Bobo never had.....buy the Offense enough time & to put it all together.

Until then, they're good enough to destroy Tennessee & Bama. Which I fully expect them to do. Tennessee on the ground...and, an aerial show for the Home Fans, HS Recruits and Bama.

    Go Dawgs.

I’m not bothered by the predictions, including Murray’s, one of my all-time favorite Dawgs, because honestly, we haven’t shown a reason to think otherwise.

With that said, I do expect a showing befitting the University of Georgia and the rise back to expectations.

I was thinking about 2 years ago with manning and Dolly Parton and all that pre-game nonsense that just died and I look forward to shutting those hillbillies up.

Actually....I think all that negative press is "inspiring & motivating" the Hairy ones and their coaching staff....to do more than just WIN Saturday.

This might be a physical game for the ages. The Vols may be the ones limping away, this time, though...from there own field. Just to prove a point. Lol

IMO......Lots of Dawg defensive sacks & take-aways in this one, resulting in Bulldog points. The Dawg D will bring comparisons to the '21 "Generational Unit". Add in an efficient ground game with an occasional downfield toss to Branch or Phillips or Young, for a score or two, and UGA will barely be challenged by Tennessee.

    Go Dawgs!!!

Thank You national media for the great bulletin board material !! Dawgs about to go to Knoxville, open up 1/5 of the playbook and stomp the Vols into orange juice !! Go Dawgs !!

Chris Cole will cause a Vols fumble that results in a Dawgs FG. KJ Bolden will snare an INT that results in a Dawgs TD. Ten points from the Dawgs Defense alone !!

the media is busting on GS for all the short passes he has thrown…don’t they understand that it’s bobo play calling that has these type situations not GS himself 🤷‍♂️

    This is General Kirby's Team....not Bobo's or even Stockton's.

Lieutenant Stockton will call and execute the plays.....General Kirby, allows Captain Bobo, to pass to the Quarterback on the field. The scope of the plays is determined during game planning. How UGA "Game Plans" for games like the last two….is becoming less and less a mystery.

IMO...Running game, short passing game, special teams....and Defense, rule the day, in games against Marshall, Austin Peay, UAB, Middle Tenn State....etc. etc.. That's why they always "seem" to struggle in those games. They're practicing and getting better across the board.

UGA's extremely lucky to have their first two games on the schedule against those 2 teams. And, they took full advantage. I look forward to seeing the Dawgs dismantle the Vols in front of a National audience. Lol...this is gonna be fun.

Some of these people on TV, forget that Football is still a "team sport"...and, that's how Kirby's Dawgs approach the game. Every year! With the same standard if not the same quality. Proud of em.

    Let's play the game.

    Go, Dawgs!

I’m hoping them Dawgs go to Knoxville, shut down Tenn Offense and score 30+ on their Defense.
Not a good look when Carson Beck is putting up good numbers, Michael Jackson, Nitro Tuggle, and Anthony Evan’s already surpassed their UGA stats.

Gonna Predict the first play of the game. Off tackle handoff, or long pass play, or swing pass to the sideline

    One of these 3
