@UGADad20 - CKS would've never called that play on 4th and 7. The fade is the lowest percentage play in football. The long fade is even lower probability of success.

You're right the play that is so low percentage actually worked! CMB must of been carrying a rabbits foot. It was reminiscient of AD Mitchell's catch against was it BAMA?

If GS throws that ball a foot too far or too short we'd all be on here criticizing Bobo for not calling a higher percentage play to just get the 1st down. WHen I first saw the pass go towards the endzone my first thought was seriously? 4th and 7? Blind hogs do find nuts.

We had Tenn reeling ready for the knock out punch and Bobo gave them a standing 10 count. It's everywhere on social media about his play calling at that time in the game was too conservative. Up until that point I didn't think he did too bad a job. But the head scratcher Bobo is always lurking just around the corner.

Some people just love to kick a dawg. Scoring 44 in Neyland (38 in reg) and making up for a down day for the D still incurs this much wrath? I don't agree with every call but as an Ohio St fan told me this morning — CMB was playing chess while they were playing checkers. He came up with the goods when it mattered most. Yeah Stockton and Humphreys came up big and that's what they're supposed to do. Kudos to the whole team who fought hard (boy was it loud AND hot) and ESPECIALLY the O.

The funniest part is the people with the Run the D@mn Ball Bobo hats, are the same ones saying we got conservative late in the 3rd talking about running it up the middle. Did you miss the opening drive of the half? That was darn near perfection with the OL grinding it out and it LOOKED like we had their very good D/DL on the ropes.

Plus the part I think so many people miss is that we did to UT what GT (almost) did to us in Nov in Athens. Look at the Time of Possession. It was 36 vs 24 and that was massive (it was even more pronounced before the 4th). It kept our D off the field when they were having a sub-par day and it frustrated UT to make them press a bit and (eventually) overplay their hand.

You just can't please some people…

I would agree that this is a tough game to grade. If you were to poll all fans, they would probably range from giving us a C (especially if we lost at the end of regulation) to an A.

I think we can ALL agree that Georgia overall did a fantastic job (especially after the first 2 questionable games) at one of the most difficult places to play in the country and against a really solid team. Tenn deserved a higher ranking than #15.

That being said, we had a pretty awful 1st quarter and I would certainly agree that something was way "off" for our secondary as Tenn had a lot of wide open receivers at times. We had half the penalties that Tenn did so that was great and did a lot of really good things.

It was nice to see Texas (and Manning) struggle against a weak UTEP team (Texas was 40+ pt favorites) and only get 115 yards passing. It shows that sometimes those cupcake games aren't always easy to get your team working smoothly.
