Well my fellow Dawgs fans tonight was a Very, Very sad affair. And Should have been different. We don’t Want or Need excuses from a HC that makes well over $10 mil a simple apology to Dawg Nation would be a soothing balm to some extent. Followed by some Firings and Demotions. FSU absolutely spanked Bama, at a bare minimum we should have at least WON even if by a close score in our Home Stadium.

Exactly- He's a great defensive minded-tough coach but not a great Head Coach. He's too stubborn and arrogant. And yes- there are some coached in college I would trade him in for but not without keeping Kirby as my DC.
Overreactions galore, which is to be expected. The defense gave up 0 points in the second half. The first half issues on third down were a problem. But someone below called this 24-21 final a "shootout" haha.
The decision not to tie the game will go down as one of, quite possibly the worst moment of in-game management of Smart's career. And what do ya know, it came against Bama. He earned every ounce of criticism he gets for that. Looks like the tide is the new Florida for us.
The upside is that there's now an all-inclusive playoff format, so now the obligatory loss to the most obnoxious program in the country not residing in Texas doesn't mean nearly as much as it used to. Just a week's worth of embarrassment and aggravation over yet another loss that never should have been.
