ATHENS â Georgia had chances to beat Alabama on Saturday. A failed fourth-down conversion to Cash Jones. A dropped touchdown pass by Talyn Taylor. And 13 successful third-down conversions from Alabama all added up to a 24-21 loss to the visiting Crimson Tide.

this team was overrated from the start. Tennessee doesn’t miss that Fg and we are 0-2 in SEC
I guessed 10 or worse. UGA is simply not an elite team any longer. The coaching has diminished. The players not cohesive for a full game. Seems like the young team is struggling to grow up. Still dropping critical passes and fumbling.
Another loss and our ratings will be below Georgia Tech. what a disaster this clown coaching staff has become…

How you get down votes for stating the obvious is beyond me. While we should have won last night, we didn’t. And obviously we loose to TN if the kicker makes a medium length FG. You are right on.
My question is: are we entering a downswing 10 years into Kirby’s tenure like we did about the same time into Coach Richt’s tenure? Not saying we are, just wondering. IMO, we are desperately in need of upgrades at OC and O-line coaching positions. Plus, our D-line has been good against the run, but has been less than acceptable in pressuring QBs. Defense has deteriorated significantly overall. Isn’t it obvious changes need to be made somewhere?
