Sam Pitman fired as head coach of Arkansas…Kirby needs to get on phone and hire him back! UGA is pathetic offensively and even defensively….12th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hire Sam as o-line coach before the sun goes down.

The Defense is a mystery. How can we be the second most talented roster and be that bad on D?

noting against the pollsters dropping UGA. BUT why didn’t Penn state “tumble”. Like LSU and FSU

If TN makes an easy FG, we’re 2-2 and shouldn’t be ranked imo. Unless beating a FCS team by 22 points means anything. All this with “the second most talented roster” in the country? Kirby’s loyalty to his buddies on the coaching staff ain’t a good thing.

Wow !! Not that I’m a prophet but I predicted that right after Ark’s loss. YES please hire him !!!

    IF....#11 catches the ball....UGA wins!

Just sayin'....we can "what if" all day....and make UGA undefeated with zero points scored on the defense....and Bama could be 1-3.

But...that ain't the case....and each game's outcome effects the approach to the next game. IF..…UGA had lost to Tennessee....I assure you, the outcome of Saturday's game would've been very different. Imo

    Go Dawgs!

What is truly unbelievable about yesterday (besides the record number of 3rd downs made by Bama) was the fact that we somehow managed to lose the game even though Bama was only leading by 10 points at the half….

and Bama didn't score a single point in the 2nd half.

    Just unbelievable…

Moreover....why the hell did Ga Tech DROP after they beat Wake Forrest?

Who else dropped after a WIN, this year?.…besides UGA in Week 2 or 3 and GT in Week 5? How does that happen? Is it just ACC/SEC Teams?...or, Southern Teams?...or Georgia Teams?.…getting the Hairy Eyeball from this so-called, "AP Poll", every season?

Anytime you have humans involved with a system that provides unchecked power....it is corrupted without fail. Afterall, Why wouldn't it be? Lol...look at the officiating biases.

Coaches Poll much more accurate. AP has always seemed enjoy punishing UGA after a loss. Not that I’m a prophet but I predicted Ark would fire Big Dan right after that loss. Now KS needs to hire him immediately IF he’d be willing to come back. Not making excuses for KS but I’m wondering if the loss of his Dad is still affecting him very deeply. Mine sure did for years after. Even my wife is asking What’s wrong with Kirby ? He doesn’t even act like himself she said.

Heck....they punish em after a WIN too.

These boys learned a valuable lesson, yesterday. Which is why Kirby doesn't seem to be bothered. I don't think we'll be seeing that UGA Team take the field again, this year. The one that takes the field, next week will be much wiser and value each possession of the ball.

Dropping TD's....missing interception opportunities.…whiffing sack opportunities...missing tackles.…dropping passes. These are NOT characteristic of Kirby Smart Teams.

We have to give Kirby the room & flexibility to teach his team...even with a loss...that Tuscaloosa failed to give Saban.

There were calls for Saban's head.…a few times, before he actually threw in the towel. I'm just sayin'..

UGA will be back on track. You will NEVER get 2 games in a row, like that...out of a Kirby Smart UGA Bulldog Team. They're a Championship caliber breed....no gettin' ' round it. Lol

One more thing…..about Kirby....I agree with your Wife....Kirby and the whole team, seemed a little out of sorts. Before the game, I noticed that there was fear and anxiety in the eyes of the Bama Players.

I told my Brother...watch the eyes of Kirby and the team while they're standing in the tunnel. Bet their hungry. But, they weren't. Their eyes were?...like they were getting ready to do a chore. Lol

You made a point that I’ve been going over. We played badly last night (largely); played well in fits and starts, at best. Almost nothing that went badly for us was because of the Bummers. We just flat played a bad game. At the same time, TheBore’s team played its best, most disciplined game of the season, and we lost by a mere three points.

The sky is not falling, y’all…

Oh it would be a bad move imho to fire KS himself. Hes still Very young !! Heck my daughter is only three years younger than Kirby !! BUT he does need an upgrade in Assistant Coaches ( I doubt he’ll do it). Right now is a prime opportunity to reel Dan Pittman back to UGA !! Having a Dominant & Premier O Line would be HUGE for the Dawgs.

Even some of Bobo’s worse play calls might well work behind that sort of O Line. Even with the injuries we Still have quality depth. For Big Dan it’d be like giving a great Chef the very best of appliances and food products !! I bet he could whip up such an O Line in short order !! But Kirby won’t fire a Friend. 🙄

Love Yours and BigDawg 61 optimism. I’ll try hard to buy in. I’m usually the same way. Losing to Bama hurt Dawgs fans hearts Deep. But I think The Way we lost was what stung most. All through the game on the game thread I kept preaching Don’t give up it’s a long game. But there were some things that simply shouldn’t have happened.

Gunner didn’t Lose this game, perhaps he could have done more to Win it but he certainly didn’t lose it.

It was a Team loss. NOW I’m ready to see some Team Wind against big time foes. Maybe the Dawgs will shake this off and come roaring back. They Have historically done just that. Go Dawgs !!
