Kirby held tight to Bobo and Searls after last year and the previous years issues. Slow starts, terrible O line play, and runs up the middle never changed. Kirby has earned the wailing and gnashing of teeth. Don't make excuses. He needs to figure out how to get more than 21 points in big games.

The notion of an "Alabama problem" just seems like hokum to me, considering the nature of the thing. Last year, Alabama had a new HC with a largely new staff, but was still made up mostly of Saban's players. This year, it's the same HC with a new OC and more kids who were brought in by TheBore. The school as a thing does not function as an entity the way we talk about it. There is no monolithic, personified "Alabama Monster" that is chasing Coach Smart down. When Saban was running the show, that sort of thinking would have worked, as there was consistency in the opponent: same coaches, same caliber of players, no/very beginning of NIL. With all of the recent changes, the logic just falls apart. It's superstition and little else.

LOL....I wouldn't worry about it.…I'm sure Kirby aint.

"They" do that, everytime he has a "close game".…Win or Lose. Comes with the territory....if you coach at one of ESPN's stepchildren Programs. And, the Dawgs have always been THAT to the Nation's Sports Media [AP].

Now....if you were at one of the preferred Programs...like Franklin at Penn State, for instance....you'd rarely get attacked despite LOSING all of the Big Games.

Or, Notre Dame....where you can be "ranked" with an 0-2 record. Just sayin'...some things are obvious to any sports fan. Imo

In fact, you fall under the Media's protection umbrella.....It allows you to coach well past your Expiration Date. They'll even provide the PR that gets you in the CFP.…huh, Michigan and TCU and Bama?. Pffft...rigged system!

Go Dawgs!!! "They" can't beat you if you just do your thang. Relax. Play some football. Have fun doing it.

Exactly....different team....different year. Can't believe anybody is buying into that Bologna.

Let's check the receipts on Smart. Lol. I think he knows what he's doing....and WE should too, by now...imo.

Kirby's comment about going for it on 4th down sounds like Dabo Swinny

Dude, do you even watch the games? May be time to get a better translator for your seeing eye dog.

It is not some big conspiracy against UGA. AL came in and schooled UGA. THAT is on the coaches and their preparation of the team. The "in Kirby we trust" click took a punch to the face saturday night. CKS hired all these assistant coaches and oversees all the practices. And UGA is sliding further and further each season. Unless you believe that the AL talent is just that much better than UGA's. Didn't you say preseason that this team was UGA's deepest and most talented ever? This UGA team is a 5 loss team.

The AL QB ( a guy you scoffed at preseason) looked like Aaron Rogers on his best day. Guys running open all over the field. And a QB who hit 90% of his passes (let that sink in) the previous 2 games played pitch and catch with his wr's. The difference between Simpson and GS was glaringly painful.

There is absolutely no excuse for rushing the 4th down play deep in AL territory late in the game by CKS and Bobo. The fact that it was a critical 4th and 1 and Bobo called a run for a walk on 180 lb RB is inexcusable. "the same play was used successfully 3 times in the TN game", said Connor Riley in another article. Ya think MAYBE AL scouted that formation/play????? Has to be one of the ****est play calls of the CKS era at UGA.

When it comes to UGA vs AL, the UGS coaching staff AND CKS get the yips. Unexplainable stupidity.

How about that AL defensive coordinator? Everywhere GS tried to throw he was throwing into 4 defenders (see the play where Delp gets separated from the pass). He is either the world's greatest defensive coordinator or UGA's offense is completely predictable. CKS is responsible for this mess.

Speaking of Delp, he is completely useless. I don't know why he was thinking about the pro's last year because he can't play. Though I did see Jackson Meeks and John Fitzpatrick in NFL uniforms yesterday. 2 guys that UGA coaches couldn't figure out how to use at UGA. Talent level or development issue? That's on the coaches.

Finally, I have doubts that Ellis Robinson will ever be an SEC level player. He is too small and afraid to hit to be an SEC player. Jumping on the pile 3 seconds late? Who is coaching that kid? Doesn't CKS help coach the DB's?

Making gazillions of dollars causes you to think you're smarter than you are. Causes you to not see what's in front of you. W bobo you get what you've always gotten. A mediocre offense that seems unable to get it going...when it matters. One dude averages 10 yards a carry and shakes tackles and is on a roll...can't use that guy, gotta trickem w a semi Rudy type scrub. Ego is currently crushing GA and seemingly will continue
