When I lived at the Phi Delt house my sophomore year, you just kinda rolled out of bed (like10am) for these noon games, went downstairs, fixed a Bloody Mary, took a shower, dressed in your preppies and loose tie, met your date at the house or picked her up before the traffic got bad, chowed on some of the buffet fried chicken spread (usually outside on the back patio), loaded your Ziplocs with JD, and wandered to the game sometime in Q1. After the game it's just a short walk to frat row and endless band parties 'til the wee hours. Rinse and repeat at the next home game.

Gosh, those were the days...but I don't remember any donuts!

Now that us disappointed dawg fans have chewed the Bama loss to pieces, over-indexing on the couldas and shouldas, from players to coaches to the future of the universe (rightfully ticked off we can't beat that dadgum team, shades of Floridas in 90s), I'm hoping the players/coaches truly learned a thing or two and are fully prepared to take KY to task. I see a solid win in my crystal ball, Georgia 41 Kentucky 16. Go Dawgs!

I wish the Ole Miss or Texas game were this weekend. After the Alabama loss, I want to see how this team plays against a top 10 team and if any changes that may have been made are long-term, not a 1-week, emotionally charged game where we get after it, only to then go back to slow starts, etc. If we beat the tar out of Kentucky, that's great, but Kentucky also isn't a playoff contender. Hopefully, any fixes that need to be made are long-term fixes. I guess we'll see.

Yep it's time to start a new home winning streak. As we saw last year in particular, playing in the SEC is a marathon, and while another loss vs Bama stung, it will be long forgotten by the end of the season. The Dawgs will get back on track quickly with this game and the next few weeks. There is no better coach than Kirby in navigating these ups and downs and moving the team to where they need to be.

This will be a very physical game as Stoops Will have his guys invested. But the Dawgs Should handle this game points wise fairly easy. It’s a perfect game to help Fix the issues our Dawgs have had to prepare for the bigger fish. Now Please, Please no injuries !! Go Dawgs !!

P.S. My fellow Dawgs fans Yall Know I Love Yall. I hate to dampen the pregame spirit but I Worry about my Brother & Sister Dawgs fans who attend the games. Especially on the road. I say this with Love for Yall, Please have your head on a swivel and try to be as cognizant as possible about the environment .There’s allot of violence going on in this country. Again I say these things Not to spoil a good time but as someone who honestly cares about his fellow Dawgs fans. Now cheer our Dawgs to total Victory !! Go Dawgs !!

Georgia better view this game as a chance to not lose 2 home games in a row. Wake up and play with urgency from the opening kick. Georgia’s next opponent has this weekend off so Georgia desperately needs a blow out win to rest starters in the 2nd half. Go Dawgs!
