I always wanted the QB in Texas who has committed to Oklahoma. This going to a Vandy practice is a bad indicator to me. Going to a Vandy game when you live in Nashville doesn’t say as much to me. But going to a Vandy practice? Not a good sign imo. @flipside You use a key phrase: “man of his word.” If he is, he’ll be in Athens come December. If he isn’t, we don’t need him. 🤷♂️
With all the big head coaching openings there is a HUGE possibility that Clark Lea will be offered big bucks to leave Vandy…..especially since he has the lowest salary in the SEC. I realize he is a Vandy graduate, but Florida, LSU, Arkansas, Penn State, Auburn, Kentucky, etc are paying their former (or soon to be former) coaches 2 to 3 times what Lea is making. Will Vandy “show him the money” or will he head to greener pastures? Stay tuned and Go Dawgs!!!
I'll believe he will sign when he signs. No use speculating with all the $$$ bags shoved in these kid's faces, nowadays, especially late in the game. He wouldn't be the first or the last so-called solid UGA commit to change at the last minute due to $$$. We still might have Gunner for another year and Puglisi looks sharp, so we'll be OK, either way.
Who cares?
