”…if the Bulldogs keep winning, it’ll have a pretty ironclad resume, filled with marquee victories.”
Obviously. But I would put that “if” in all caps. The only remaining game on the schedule that is a definite win is Charlotte. Florida, as the article correctly points out, has an excellent D line. Mississippi State actually looked better than Texas to me. Then the 4th quarter happened and Manning looked like he was touted in preseason. Tech took us to 8 overtime’s last year! So, yes Connor, IF the Dawgs win all these games they’re a lock to not only make the CFP, but do so as a top seed.
First things first. Get ready for a tough game this Saturday. Let’s beat those lousy stinking gators before we start talking about making the CFP.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT…not a single conference champion won a CFP playoff game last year. I repeat, not a single one. Key to CFP success, avoid having to prep for a very physical conference championship game, take the week off, rest, restore, prepare and focus on the real prize, a Natty! Having that first round game at home is priceless.
100% @UGADawg
aTm has to be the most overrated team still standing now that the U was exposed by Louisville as the biggest contender/pretender hiding under the ruse of a spoonfed cupcake schedule, Miami has not had to leave the state of Florida a single time so far this season…6 home games and a single away game to an 0-4 vs ACC FSU team. Rumor has it aTm and the U will play each other in the Betty Crocker Cupcake Bowl for the Supreme Cupcake Eater trophy after neither team qualifies for the CFPs…
personally I rather we didn’t play for the SEC title. GT is the team to watch, Key is still upset he didn’t get that win last year in Athens..they will be gunning for the dawgs
UGA should have the same.mindset every week. Get better. Stay healthy. Go 1-0. The rest will take care of itself.
