Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

This isn’t off-topic exactly, as it does regard something in the article, but how long are we going to keep having to read the appositive “formerly Twitter”? It’s been called X for two years now. We know what X is.
The first phase to accepting a position at a new school is to deny any interest in leaving for a new school. See ya later Josh, thanks for the memories…
Any AD who considers the LSU job needs to have his head examined. Interference from the Governor and his hand-picked board of trustees makes that job a living nightmare. No thanks.
Why did you post the tweeter post and then type the comments? Yeah the AD lost his job because of the buyout money. He seems to have a pattern of giving away the schools money
I see a SMU scenario brewing all over again in Baton Rouge. I wouldnt touch the AD, or Coaching jobs if they gave me the keys to every bank in town. Governor of Texas at the time, and his hand picked committee were the main culprits in the scandal that ended in the death penalty by the NCAA for SMU football. But, he was on the other end of the spectrum, turning a blind eye to paying players, and acting d u m b to the fact, and it cost him. Even throwing others into the fire instead of taking the heat he created himself. Politicians should not be involved in college athletics, recruiting athletes, or any decision made by the school..Period. Politicians should stick to what they do best..LYING.
@1SICemDAWGS1 Couldn't have said it better. UGA will keep Brooks. Of that I have no doubt. Hopefully by tomorrow at this time we can all release a slow breath with a win against the Gators.
Maybe if UGA can get a new AD, maybe a GA boy, he can bring the UGA/FU game back to Athens.?
