Georgia favored at Mississippi State, but only by single digits
Georgia favored at Mississippi State, but only by single digits
Coach Kirby Smart is regarded as the most elite coach in college football and his Georgia Bulldogs are 7-1 and ranked No. 5 in the nation, while Mississippi State is 5-4 and has lost 11 straight SEC home games.

“And yet, Georgia is only favored by single digits — 8.5 points — in its game against the Maroon Bulldogs at noon next Saturday in Starkville.”
The dawgs haven’t convinced Vegas that they can dominate the entire game. That’s not what Kirby is focused on because it’s not important. He is focused on convincing his team that they are capable of playing better and dominating the entire game.
GO DAWGS!
And that they are resilient and always capable of winning the game if they continue to play hard with effort and heart!
Go Dawgs! Hate on them other bulldogs!
If i was a betting man, I'd take the DAWGS and the points..UGA DAWGS that is lol i dont see it being less than a 10 point win for the DAWGS..unless its a 4 point game with 2 minutes left, and the DAWGS could easily score a TD but decide to take a knee and run out the clock..
Georgia covered the spread against Florida except on paper since it was obvious Gunner would have gotten us the 7 extra points. But I still don't trust Georgia when it comes to spreads.
And, understandably so...imo. Anybody that's watched Miss State play a few games this year....knows perfectly well, what they are capable of.
8.5 points may be too many....depending on which Teams show up. Both are Jekyll & Hydes....when it comes to "Identity". Lol
Will UGA learn how to "Hit & Tackle" on defense?....will their DB's and WR's be able to catch & hold onto the darn football?
Will MS come hard like everybody else the Dawgs face? That one, I think I can answer....YES!
The Dawgs "better" come ready to play. I'm serious...they COULD lose this one if they don't have their minds right. Just sayin'..
Go Dawgs!
All depends on whether Vinny and Rocco have seats behind Mary Beth and the twins…if they aren't, you can count on the Dawgs covering.
Man!!!...I didn't even think about "The Dawg Fight" angle. The jokes kind of write themselves, don't they? Lolol
Good thing, they aren't playing Texas A&M.....I don't even know what an Aggie is. How do you joke about that? Lol
There's a reason the line is so low. GA makes every team this year look like Champs in the first half, sometimes for 3 quarters before finally winning.
Not sure how you beat somebody by 8.5 points but I’ll take it right now. 😏 This should be a battle royal. Watching MSU this season makes me wonder how we’re favored by that mush. I would make it a pick ‘em game. Yes, as Mike points out, MSU could be a one loss team. On the another hand, we could easily be a three loss team. The parity in the SEC is unreal. Hoping our ability to win **** continues. Of course, I would rather win pretty, but will take any win.
I should have said I hope we can continue to win u-g-l-y because without the hyphens you get ****. 😳 plumb weird. Also quite rude, imo.
The close score in the UF game is deceptive, Georgia could have/should have won by double digits. Even in the In the playoff era style points still matter.
Brother of course you know what an Aggie is !! That’s the Big ole marble you use to knock the little marbles out of the ring !! Quit trying to pretend you’re young Lol !! Just kidding. But that is what they called the big marble for shooting the little ones out of the ring !! You ever hear Jerry Clower talking about the kid that was using a big ole steel ball out of a ball bearing as an Aggie ? Some of Em laid it up on the heating stove and when the kid went to get it back, well you know !! P.S. It just dawned on me, so when TAMU loses a game do they say they’ve lost their marbles Lol ??!!?? 🤣🤣
See here’s the thing them maroon bulldogs are all bark, our bull dawgs is All BITE !! Go get Em Dawgs !!

Copy & Paste that link to your browser if you want to, that’s Jerry Clower talking about them Steel Aggies !! I played when I was really little so did my older brother. But new things come along and we lost interest in shooting marbles which is sort of sad in a way. Another part of the “ simple times” gone in time.
