As Kirby said, "We're a beat up football team", looking to get beat up some more next weekend before facing a very rested Texas team the following weekend. Someone on this blog pointed out that scheduling imbalance a couple of weeks ago… 4 SEC teams having byes before facing us. That's some BS there. Go Dawgs!

Obscurely Fun Fact…the team to face the most teams coming off of BYE weeks…2019 UGA faced I believe it was 7 teams coming off of byes, how obscene was that! Vandy-SC-TN-FL-Mizz-Aub all played us with no competition the week before and if I recall Baylor in a bowl game after a few weeks off. How we managed to go 11-1 that year is beyond comprehension…but we ran into a Joe Burrow buzz saw in ATL that cost us a natty shot. Good times against a stacked deck indeed…that’s when I knew for sure Kirby was a keeper. Never complained about the biased schedule, just went to work and took care of business!
