Since the conference is too weak to enforce a common sense rule, they should let other schools pipe in music all the way through. They clearly don’t stop with the bells until the ball is snapped so no one enforces the rule. Just a really **** exemption that provides a huge home field advantage.
Gunner gets penalized for clapping too dramatically, but Missy State gets to bring artificial noise makers into game. Go figure! Greg Sankey should cancel Mike Slive's exception, or other fan bases should start bringing "bongo drums" to games. We promise we will stop drumming when ball is snapped!
@76junkyarddawg @Henddawg Exactly !! Totally Agree !! So what are they gonna do call security to eject several, several Thousand fans that don’t obey the rule ? Commish Slive just gave them a very biased exemption that has zero logic. They have a built in advantage with the cowbells.
And like 76jinkyarddawg pointed out the Hypocrisy is So blatant with them calling a penalty on Gunner for Clapping to aggressively !! 🙄. Commish Sankey should make the rules uniform across the SEC with No exemptions !! Go Dawgs !!
Bama has a special exemption from the SEC on being penalized for holding, so there is that.
