Man!!!...I'd like to have a couple sets of those Hard Rock Tickets. Helluva venue.

"we put more weight on the stronger teams"....CFBPC

Okay…..."Who" & "How" are the "stronger teams" determined? Through a ranking process?

Lol....what's the difference between having a CFBPC....AND....Just taking the top 12 teams in the AP POLL? You can't manipulate Polls as easy as you can a Committee....that's what...imo.

    Go Dawgs!!!!

Ha, what a dog and pony show these initial rankings are. I will say they give some insight into how the committee will handle the potential two and three loss teams, but it was a much bigger deal with the 4 team format. I'm glad to hear Kirby isn't distracted.

It's not about finding the "Best" anymore....it's about giving "the few", their unearned shot. We ALL know who the best teams are....until January. Lol

They tell us every week, which teams "are best". What happened to Clemson, Miami and FSU?....Weren't they "the best", just a few short weeks ago?

Lol…polls are for the birds...imo. But, these Committees are WORSE! At least the Polls make some sense, when you get up around the Top 6.

Imo....Kirby is right, not to be worried. Without the SEC...there is no "Playoff".

They have watered down the strength of schedule so much that it remains more subjective than objective. As long as they allow humans to influence the SOS element, it will still be a popularity contest and much about where you are in the AP (which is the biggest joke of all). To say Ohio State has more impressive wins than A&M is simply nonsensical.

ND will get in regardless of their record
