Sometimes that is why I h.a.t.e. when he plays the backups on offense. They will run the ball with 11 guys in the box, and then let him throw it on an unrealistic trash play call. With ZERO chance of being completed.
I just don’t understand putting your second string quarterback in just so he can only hand the ball. Aside from the 3rd and long “must pass”, number two needs the experience. Third string can hand off. Second needs to throw.
And that is why you never let off the gas. Because the other guy didn’t.
I hate giving up garbage points at the end of the game.
