Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

"Winner: Noah Thomas
The Texas A&M transfer has been a different player for Georgia since the off week."
Along with Elyiss Williams, Thomas is another player who is on an impressive trajectory to be a "problem" for those teams that will line up against the Dawgs going forward. This is still a young team, but they are 9 games into the season and battle tested by one of the most challenging schedules in the country. Along with a healthier OL, this more experienced group is a different team than they were when the season started.
GO DAWGS!
I know Williams catch was amazing, but the block was equally fantastic. He needs 20 + touches a game.
Winner - sacks. Dialing up pressures really helped. D Wilson - fantastic sack. Broke down and made the tackle. Loved it.
Loser - When you do bring pressure, we need someone on the QB scramble.
And if James Madison and the American champion can climb high enough in the rankings, there might be a world where the league gets left out entirely.
I have heard this take several times by talking heads on the radio and now this article’s author.
I just want to know how it would be possible for “ the league to be left out entirely “ from the CFP when the ACC champion is supposed to be getting an automatic bid?
What am I missing!?
Kirby defers a great deal to his position coaches, since they know their rooms better than anyone. That's what good leaders do… assemble and surround yourself with elite teams, and empower those experts. In this case, Todd Hartley is arguably the best TE coach in the country. But I'm glad Kirby is putting pressure on his guys to get talented, albeit green young pups gametime snaps. TE, OL, and DL play has improved, accordingly. Use 'em our lose 'em. Go Dawgs!
Actually, that's no longer the case this season. I believe it's the "five highest ranked conference champions" that get an autobid in 2025. Therefore, if two other conference champions beyond Big10, Big12, and SEC were ranked above the ACC champion, ACC gets zero bids.
Also, byes are given to top four ranked teams regardless of conference championships this season. Hope this helps!
What a catch by Williams on Saturday! The guy has been clutch when he has been targeted. He reminds a lot of us of former TE Washington, but I think Elyiss is even better, with more potential upside. Hoping Bobo keeps getting him the ball.
Georgia has just a ton of value in the TE room that it is hard to keep up with it all! Every one of those guys can and should play in the NFL after their college careers and that is absolutely amazing. The most amazing thing to me is their attitudes. Hartley is an incredible coach for sure, but may be an even better recruiter. Not only does he find incredible talent but he ensures they have the mindset of team-first and I've got to learn to do the dirty work (blocking) in order to see the field. And even if they do all of that correctly, there is always going to be others of equal conviction and talent. Absolutely outstanding to not only get them to Athens, but to keep them engaged and then ready to tear the world up when they do get in, is something to watch. Go DAWGS!
What a fun game to watch Saturday and seeing this team develop as the season goes on . Off topic and no ACC fan but I sure like the both review system they have . Don’t know if Stankey will implement it knowing how he likes to protect his awful referees . Go Dawgs !!
Thanks so very much!
Yeah, the second part i knew, that the highest 4 would get the byes whether or not they were automatic qualifiers….
The part that apparently escaped me was the "conference champion" designation…i guess i had interpreted that to mean the champions of the Power 4 conferences plus one!
I appreciate your explanation and your time…..now i can rest easy!!🤣😎
Biggest loser was the 'no-call' for roughing the passer as Gunner connects with Thomas on the TD play -
if Georgia had done that it would have been called targeting
Biggest Loser is ESPN's Gameday not being in Athens this upcoming weekend, but instead in Pittsburgh for Pitt vs ND. GO DAWGS!!
