Jeff, thanks for the recall of that 10=9 victory. Texas had an almost impregnable defense all season. For his end around gallop near the end of that classic contest, John Lastinger reached the highest echelon of what it is to be a DGD!

    Our secondary vs Wingo

Shut him down one on one and it’s game over. If he wins the one on one’s, gonna be interesting

@Gramster your matchup along with a healthy dose of QB pressure from Johnson, Cole, Allen, Harris, Walker, (or whoever they bring with the blitz package) will have Manning so frustrated he can't think straight, and put the Dawgs right where they want to be!

    GO DAWGS!

I have to agree with Jeff and Kaylee's take. The team that wins up front will win the game!

I believe I would have fit the UGA tight ends in the discussion. If used right, they could be the deciding factor in the offensive success. I am impressed with the 'old' guys, but E. Williams has shown game winning potential. The whole team has progressed weekly.

Let's have a 12 man game. If you look back, Texas has a problem with away games. The fans could have a large part in winning this game…Go Dawgs!!!

The LOS is the key. We ran the ball over 100 yards in both of the games last season and stuffed their running game to the tune of 29 and 31 yards by Texas. We also sacked the QB 6-7 times in each contest. Can we repeat that???

A creative game plan will be what Sark brings, and Bobo needs to be creative and aggressive like we were against the Rebels. Big use of our TEs and a lot of misdirection.

This is where and why Kirby is so stringent about being able to block. Our TEs are very adept at blocking and also as receivers catching the ball. I think the TEs both as blockers and catching the ball will be the difference for our Dawgs.

Hopefully our Dawgs can find ways to put intense pressure on Arch. It doesn’t have to be a sack every play though that would certainly be nice, but be in his windshield on nearly every play. Make him start hearing footsteps closing on him that aren’t necessarily really there.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due and yes Arch has improved significantly ( So has Gunner) but Arch is still prone to the INT or inaccurate throw when he’s under allot of heat. When Gunner is under allot of pressure he either misses an open player or throws an inaccurate pass ( he also uses his legs and gets at least Some positive yds many times) but missing an open guy or throwing an inaccurate pass when under intense pressure is FAR better than throwing an INT. You can’t turn the ball over in games like this and expect to win.

The speed of Gunner’s release has improved significantly in my view. Yeah when the pressure is really hot he sometimes misses an open guy or throws an uncatchable pass, those are the negatives, the positives which are Much More is he throws nice darts right to his guy out of the reach of the defender. Gunner has what it takes to get the job done. And Now in these last several games I’m Believing in our O Line much more than earlier in the season. They’ll protect Gunner and he will in turn make Them and Us proud !! Go Dawgs !!

What was that Swish I just heard ? That was Branch running for 60 yds and a TD on a 10 yd screen pass !!!!
