There’s not likely to be a change at the very top of the College Football Playoff rankings this week, but the race is on for at-large positions and the ACC and Group of Five allocated spots in the 12-team field

Dawgs looked good last night minus most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters when the offense disappeared only to come back in the 4th quarter to open a can of whoop @$$. Go DAWGS!!

"No. 12 James Madison/No. 5 Texas Tech winner vs. No. 4 Georgia"

I would not count it as a disadvantage to play a first round CFP game as the 5-seed against James Madison at Sanford Stadium. This game would follow about three weeks without game action, and it would be a nice warm-up for the second round. In the second round of last year's CFP, all four teams that had a bye for the first round were beaten (including UGA).

    GO DAWGS!

We’ll see if the committe is really ranking teams based on who is the best team right now. The Dawgs are CURRENTLY playing better than Indiana and A&M. Indiana had to score at the end of the game to beat Penn State a week ago. A&M would have lost yesterday if I had been calling plays for South Carolina in the second half. A 35-10 win over the #10 team in the country deserves more value than the Big 10 biased committee will give it. 🤷‍♂️

Does OSU and IU play for the B1G championship? If so will the loser drop?

Georgia’s Kirby Smart gave a master class in coaching strategy Saturday night in Athens as the Dawgs got their third win over Texas in just over a year. Check out my thoughts the big win in the latest Junkyard Blawg post.
