What does Georgia need to do to handle Tech’s powerful offense and quarterback Haynes King this year — without going to multiple overtimes? Some longtime observers of Dawgs football share their thoughts in the latest Junkyard Blawg.

how to make all conference championships matter- 24 team playoff without A CFP Committee. The P4 conferences get their top 3teams in the playoff (based on conference tiebreaker rules) with the champ getting a bye. Add 6 more teams from the champions of each G6. ALSO have each P4 conference have their 4-5 ranked teams have a playin game that leaves 2 spots available for highest national ranked teams not included (AP)

Pitt took Tech to the mat. They scored at will against this :"great offense"? Haynes King was reduced to a good QB status not great. Gave up a really bad pick six for a TD. Georgia needs Pitt's playbook.

Number one, I want to win the SEC. This is the toughest conference there is and that is always my goal.

Number two, if alabama beats TA&M, they will jump us. You don’t know where A&M will fall and that whole first round bye is potentially gone. You also don’t know how much someone else may rise so, aside from the prestige and bragging right of being SEC Champs, you need to play and win that game. And you especially want to put a whoopin’ on and shut alabama up.

Please forgive this basketball comment. , but it seems Georgia's guards are reluctant to pass the ball to Blue Cain. They typically pass the ball to the other side of the court and then often take the shot themselves.

I share that sentiment. And I’d also turn the comment back to Kirby that it’s not us fans who have cheapened the championship games, it’s the selection committee . Look at 2023 and tell me I’m wrong.
