"On Buster Faulkner’s evolution..." that evolution needs to continue with an advancement to become the Dawgs next OC when Mike decides to hang up his headset.

Forgive my ignorance, but was Alijah Clark once a Bulldog? I'm just wondering why Kirby got asked about him. And for folks who criticize these press conferences, they're difficult. Because Kirby can't really control who's in the room, he's circumspect in many of his responses, not wanting to give away too much. Contrast that with the information he doles out to the network TV crews working the game. They'll often have key, interesting insights about players or the teams or even Kirby's philosophy that the little beat writers never get. I think Kirby (and most coaches) are a lot more open with the TV crews because they typically won't be dealing with them on a day-to-day basis, plus I think there's a pretty good understanding that the information won't be shared until the game itself, thus preventing our opponent from getting anything useful before kickoff.
