I think it doesn't look good to say that in public, but we do really need the rest although it looks like we won't get it. A&M is about to lose their game.
Kirby sees things as a Coach we see things as fans. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that as everyone wasn’t meant to be HC at UGA. Purely from a rest and healing standpoint not being in the SECCG might sound right. But football players Want to play.
And as TX just scored again Even as I was typing this the score now 27-17 TX over the Aggies it looks like our Dawgs will be going. SO go Win that SECCG Trophy and put it in the trophy case. Just be sure to make room for that National Title Trophy that’s gonna set beside it !! Go Dawgs !!
Kirby isn’t worried about losing; he’s worried about winning. Besides that, even if we do lose that game, we don’t drop out of the top 12. Maybe we lose a first round bye, but then we just get our first playoff game (most likely) at home.

That;s right! Also, the Dawgs would get more credit and no asterisk by their name for winning it all, because they won and played in their SEC conference Championship game. I know I look down on the teams who make the playoffs that didn't play their conference champ game.
Lastly, everyone is saying we need the rest. Everyone is limping into their conference champ games right now and then everyone will get a few weeks rest prior to the playoffs. So regardless, everyone is gonna get to rest, but we Dog fans get one extra game to watch before the regular season is concluded! Go Dawgs!!
