A month layoff would be a disaster. We had the first round bye last year and were way underdone vs Notre Dame. I agree with CKS, it’s football, man up and play.

“Not for me to decide. Y’all know me well enough. I’m not in here lobbying us.Those folks who make that decision, maybe they’ve gotta make those decisions. Our job is to respond to it.”

I love this. Especially after just listening to that dude in burnt orange trying to tout how deserving his 3-loss team is…

If somebody said before the season, UGA will go 11-1 this year, I think we'd all take it. Now avenge against Bama. Do that and you'll cruise.

The clock mistakes at the end of the half could have cost us the game. Kirby needs to study that and get better. We had three timeouts and there were 52 seconds left. Kirby ran the clock to 21 seconds and then called timeout. Huge mistake. We needed to score 7, and what he did was make his offense one dimensional by running off the clock. He should have used a timeout at 52 seconds after McCray’s run. With two timeouts remaining, that enables us to run our whole playbook and gives us a couple of more plays. I understand he wanted to run out the clock, but worst case, we would have scored on a running play with 30-40 seconds left in the half. I’ll take the 7 points and the risk of giving Tech the ball back in that situation 100% of the time. We probably wouldn’t have scored on the first running play.

Kirby will never admit he made a mistake. I agree and it didn’t make sense what happened there.

This should have been a Georgia blowout. Some questions about the play calling, why didn’t they bring in Walker and Bowen? TE had 0 catches. The defense played lights out that kept the dawgs in the game.
