Love the Dawgs, but until they beat Alabama I wouldn’t bet on them to beat Alabama. I heard it said you can be the man until you beat the man.

Dawgs 7-5 under Kirby at The Benz. Four of those losses were against The Tide. Kirby 1-7 against Bama overall. Until Kirby proves his team can beat Bama, I don't understand being favored over them, especially in THAT venue. We beat Texas twice last season and once this year. The Longhorn fans are probably feeling the same frustration with us.
Is it prove it time or another disappointing loss???

What are these people smoking? Have they not seen 7 of the last 8 games between these two teams? I thought Georgia would be a guaranteed underdog in this game.
Despite the slow start, we could have, and should have, beaten alabama last time around. Unfortunately, some very questionable coaching cost us the comeback. That seems to be the case when Smart takes on the tide. If he coaches like he knows how and stops the overthinking and analytics, we win easily. alabama has not looked strong in the majority of their games. I’m glad we get them instead of Ole Miss and I want to seriously hurt them this coming Saturday and make them rethink continuing to field a football team.
I just hope Alabama has run out of their magic on 4th downs.
Between now & gametime, it will probably change. The Dawgs will be the underdog - and I am okay with that.

AL always seems to play their best game against UGA. UGA does not. Maybe that changes. UGA playing w/o its best OL (#74). AL with mostly Saban recruits has the highest blue chip ratio in CFB.
I have seen the top teams in CFB play this season. Multipe times exc Indiana. For my money to 2 best teams in CFB are OSU and AL when the are on.
An extra game to get beat up and possibly lose against a top team like AL or MS is suicidal.

Bama has been gifted several games this year with fumbles and dropped passes, winning 5 one score games requires both character and luck. Very beatable if we can catch the damned ball.
UGA Defense is much better on 3rd down now than they were in September. Alabama was something like 13 of 19 and 8 of 8 on the first 8 3rd down plays.This could and should be the difference maker in this next showdown. UGA performing better on 3rd down on both sides of the ball gets it done on Saturday!

The current favorable odds I surmise is related to how much pressure Auburn put on Simpson, OL was pummeled.
