Does the defense come through again like in 2021 and win us a Championship??

The Bobo loss looms VERY large. I'm very concerned about the effectiveness of our running game going forward. That may be our Achilles heel.

Luckily, Bama looked as out of sorts and not-so-great against the Tigers last night, so we have both just had rough games.

Coaching: C+. Obviously, our game plan didn't work very well, but we did win. But guys couldn't get open, and not a single TE caught a pass.

Bobo just didnt have a good gameplan besides run the ball. Other teams have passing strategies, but not ga. All the fans and talking heads were pleased with bobo over the last several weeks, hate him now. Tolliver wasnt ready, which is on bobo. D is the wrong grade. And we have bama next. Regardless, smart needs to get a co offensive coordinator next year.

How many times were the tight ends even targeted? I know the interception came when Gunner was trying to hit Luckie. Was Gunner not checking down or were they not getting separation? Definitely have to have all tight ends and receivers finding some separation against Alabama. We can’t be totally reliant on running the ball, especially up the middle, or Alabama is going to continue to own us! Go Dawgs!

Notice when the TE's are forgotten, we struggle offensively? This happened again against Tech.

Bama has a player out for the 1st half of the SECCG, due to a targeting call. Jam Miller took a beating everytime he carried the ball against auburn, and was eventually helped off the field after an injury. Hopefully that will have a lingering effect and it shows in his play Saturday..GoDAWGS! From what im reading on the Bama boards, it doesnt look like Miller will play in the SECCG now, due to a "lower leg" injury. CORRECTION: as Hootche10 pointed out, and appreciated as well. The targeting call was in the 1st half, he missed the 2nd half of the game due to that call, therefore he is eligible to start the the SECCG.

    "Overall: C"??

A win is a win; they all count the same - team sport, team game. 11 & 1 and going to the SECCG. The 5th straight appearance and 8th in the last 9 years. The "grader" has NO clue…and just like the cartoon character, Joe BTFSPLK, it's always raining.

RB: Frazier A, McCray C-. I guess McCray ended up RB2 because he practiced well. But don’t we have to look at the game day performance? He did not run effectively at all. He’s too slow.

The grades hint at the major challenge we have this week. Playing in the Benz a week before the SECCG is a big benefit, but the crucial question is whether we come into the game recognizing where we can improve and doing so, or whether we come in nervous about both our poor performance against Tech and our history with Alabama. The coaches' biggest job this week is getting the team — and themselves — in the right mindset.

Jeez, Connor. WTH with this article? No call out of Bobo the Elder? An incoherent game plan made worse by Stockton's "deer in the headlights" outing; no TE usage; and the adjustments made after Drew went out with injury. Were there any adjustments? Thank god for the D.

If "coaching was an issue" at the end of the half, I'd hate to see what "screwed up" looks like.

I guess "elite" expectations and performance are only for the players.
