Think of our receivers as a whole collectively…Wiley, Taylor, Blackshear, Roldan, Williams, Prothro (X until gets bigger and TE room stacked currently), Mosley, Dandridge, Honore & Starling…plus we are in it for Hornes who announces at All-American game on January 3rd for current 26 class and was turned away earlier in cycle when Dandridge & Marquese were both on board at his projected Z/Y spot. Think if we go hard we will get him, but we may have our sight on a receiver in the portal like we did with Humphreys a couple of years back for this spot.

    Go Dawgs!!

Hate to be mister negative, but game day already has me emotional.

What I picked up from the article is UGA's commitment class has 6 players, but 4 are 3*s. That is Techish type recruiting. I know it's early, and things change, but still not very good.

Just don't get it, uga lost 2 of their top 7 commits just to replace them with 2- 3*s. Especially on offense. This just does not feel like a good day so far. 🤢🤮

Thr stars dont matter. Sure it sucks to lose someone they wanted. They still are not hating for talent. See the part of the article about 3 stars and ladd. Or if need a newer example Glover a true freshmen and one of our best olineman was a 3*. If not for a late flip due to playing time for curtis and a late ranking adjustment we would still have about the same number of 5* as usual. Prothro has been a 5* all year and they shafted him for guys that havent done half of what he has. If we look closer at the class valdin sone has a 5* ranking per 247, and if the rankings remain the same Fitzpatrick would also end up a 5* on3.

It sucks to lose players. I get it, but the reality is we.are still bringing in great classes. Its a new era and everyone says that like they acknowledge it and reali!d it, but then they make complaints about things that are a direct result of the new era..contradicting themselves when they say new era, nil etc.

We are never going to sign the type of classes we used to. It dodsnt mean thr classes we are bringing in arent still elite and relative to our old classes in the context that others classes are down too. We will have.more big name.misses bc with the big name they get caught up in how.their agent tells them they should ssd.the game which is "you rthe most wanted if they want you they will pay" and it becomes a bidding war that eventually becomes not worth it to us. They still are bringing in high end atheletes that can project for 1st rd or early rd talents shoulf they develop. Our staff.has shown they evaluate and develop better than anyone. They dont go by.recruiitng websites so.probably an indicator fans shouldn't either. Or at least not putting any make or break stake in it.

Too many things have changed. From the money, to kids not caring about the nfl or playing in the most talented conference,, more kids are unconcerned with development, they want the check bc they see college as the end goal and they want to.plat right away and are willing to go anywhere to be able to do so bc they dont care about risking the nfl or having a lesser chance. We will have to sell guys on who are made up of the right stuff, guys that want to work. Hopefully we make a run and win the natty and if gunner takes another step in his development maybe it shows recruits that the old narratives they hear are no longer true. We have one of the most elite and young rosters in cfb, bringing in a top 5 ranked class. Like 95%%+ of cfb would kill to finish with a top 5 class. Now if it becomes a trend or gets worse there will.be cause for concern and.think.we can count on kirby and staff to adjust.
